I think the alcohol
was the fuel on the fire.
I think all it did
is exacerbate
my actual symptoms.
You know, I would have issues
I would think about things
and then I would drink
and then they would get worse.
But then they would,
I would be able
to compartmentalize them again
and push them back
and then keep drinking.
So I wouldn't have to think
about them.
Going away from the alcohol was
probably the best thing ever
because I had clarity,
and for the longest time,
my mind was just foggy,
you know,
and then the alcohol
just keeps it foggy
and then you don't have to-
you don't have to think directly
on different issues,
episodes, you know, you can just
kind of-
I think it was
almost like revitalizing to be
able to think clearly again.
